Male and Female created He them.

You know the story. One human meets another human and through time they begin to love each other. The one proposes. The other accepts, and the date is set. Off they go for the union celebration and later a new human is brought unto them, who is nurtured, instructed and eventually leaves the first two, and the process starts again.  It’s been called multiplying the earth. After a period, the first two die leaving behind two generations related to the first.

Consider that the first two had 10 children and each of those had ten each, how many would be left after the first two died?  My math tells me there would 120 left in the family. Oh, how quickly the earth gets populated, and that’s just including the grandchildren of the first, perhaps just a 50-year period. Take it to the next generation.

God told Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply the earth.  And they did. Back in those days, many of the patriarchs lived a very long time according to our standards. Adam lived to be 930. Wow, how big did that family reunion become? All we are told is that after the birth of Seth, Adam was 130 years old and then Eve had sons and daughters. How many could that have been? 1 every 7 years. Only guess work. Say we cut him off at 800 years; 633 years left after Seth. Could have been 90. And then the possibility of twins in there somewhere. Just guess work since they did not leave a family album.

After Noah, the life spans of humans declined as this chart illustrates.

Life chart from Noah

Why the decline?

Well my hypothesis is that because of the disruption of the perfect garden, diseases slowly entered the genetics of humans altering the aging process.

And now, parents in the USA average 1.77 children.  China has been known to legally limit the number of children to just 1 per the female spouse. Will the process of multiplying the earth continue?

After the grandparents die, who and how many will be left to watch over and care for the next generation of grandparents? And the next? Many leaders and watchdogs promote the idea that the earth is over-populated causing a disruption in the eco-system because of the devastation these humans are causing the system, resulting in more deaths from hazardous chemicals and/or lack of sustaining chemicals. Therefore, you must limit the number of children being exposed to these changing environments even if it means destroying a fetus before it takes that first breath of air.

Do it, for the sake of the children.

But, if all limited the birth rate, then slowly there would be no one left to perform surgeries, to stock the shelves, to entertain, to educate, to tell us what happened yesterday, no one left to shovel the snow in the driveway, and on and on it goes, nothing left but dead battery robots.

Tearing up biology.

Ah, the world is turning and has been rotating since its creation. Can’t undo that. In this world of ours there are rules that man cannot change: the physical dynamics of creation, the biology of creation. Mankind has been given an innate curiosity about the surrounding nature of things which has led to the development of phenomial technological achievements.   So, here we are in the 21st century able to talk to and see others on the other side of the rotating earth through some sort of electronic signals as the world turns. This curiosity is also contemplating changing our nature as assigned at birth. Some don’t like it. Some rebel against it. And unfortunately, rebellion is also a part of our nature.

There are some who claim that an element in their birth got mixed up, and they would like to change that. Some are confused. Some desire to be a boy instead of a girl. Some boys like being a girl.  And these are demanding that a fact of biology can be changed. Operations have been done altering and/or removing a physical element. The claim is that society is sexist because it has certain unwritten rules that determines what type of clothes one must wear, what toys kids should play with, who must use which rest room, what kind of a job, what sports, what, what, and around it goes so noone should be happy because I’m not happy.

Anyway, you get the picture.

OK, let’s go along with the scenario. Society burns all the clothing and we all wrapped our bodies with drapery. No barbers anywhere and our hair grows and grows. Oops, some people started growing mustaches and beards. Oops, some people had an unusual growth under the chin. Oops, some noticeably had higher voice range when speaking and singing. Oops, some had unusal lumps on their chest. Oops, some seem to have larger feet and got physically stronger than others. Oops, some had some sort of bleeding each month. Oops, some would and some would not, and on and on it goes.

Ah, come on, it’s all in the placement of the 1’s and 0’s in each bite of programming, change a gene here or there, and that can be changed by one of our AI programmers.

Nope, in the beginning God created a male and a female saying to them: “be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. . . . ”

The commandments Part 5

As in my previous hallucinations? of the creator God appearing in our vision as the owner, the developer of this company, is now discussing the commandments.

The Lord God starts:

“And now my partners here we are gathered together again, this time it seemed right to venture alongside the garden. This garden is protected territory, but you can still partially view and smell the aroma, although your view and smell is foggy.  It’s partially left here as a reminder.

I will be speaking this morning  about something that shatters many a men in their quest for temporary satisfaction. Have you thought about why that union between a male and a female is so enjoyable? As the creator,  I could have done it differently when your body was finalized for use, and later wish I  had, as your ability to sensualize that act became a goal and more devilish than intended. How physically exhaustive it was, it may have led to less and less new ones being born as you shy away from physical tasks. Yet, it is very satisfying, so you want more and more.  Would you rather relax and just think about it, perhaps watch others?  Don’t even think about that. That’s desiring to know evil. That’s why this garden has been declared off limits.

The object of this lesson is to get into your deep consciousness that it is not okay for you to seek satisfaction with anyone else other than your wife. Nope, nobody else; not a friend, not an old classmate, not your neighbor, not a stranger, not a sister or your mother, and, oooh, icky, not your brother either.  No. Never. Don’t even think about it. Your features were not designed for that, so forget it.  You don’t want to get fired because of a half-hour, an hour of fun, do you?

“Thou shalt not commit Adultery” is rule number 7.

Your wife is precious and loving, sacrificing much to make you happy. Why else would you choose her? For inheritance? Get real. For beauty? That’s not all a woman is endowed with.  Did you marry her to cook and wash your dirt, clean up your messes and provide for you?  Get off your butt. Did you marry her because a deep forgiving enduring love developed?  If so, then that love will last.

You made a vow upon your marriage: to love and to honor, in riches or poverty, in sickness and in health to death do you part. So, keep that pledge and that intimate relationship will blossom into beautiful bouquets: children, and then grandchildren, to whom your innate genes are passed down, as was said before what goes around comes around.

Okay?  You got it?  Good.  You vow unto me that you will obey #7.

Just two more rules coming up later today, so back to work until then.

The Commandments, Part 2

As a layman without any sort of degree in theological studies, here I go again, posting an analogy of the Ten Commandments using my liberties on this second part of this series on the Ten Commandments, concentrating on the 4th as written in Exodus 20.

“Charlton Heston in “Ten Commandments” 1956”Annex-Heston,Charlton(TenCommandments,The)_05

You’ve been working hard the past 5 days when the boss approaches you at the work site. Surprised, you quickly wonder, did I do something wrong, did I break a rule, was I was in trouble and might be sent to the bonfire. He notices right away your astonishment and puts you at ease. He then starts reviewing with you again how the company got its start, how he put all things together under certain laws that would guarantee the certainties of repeating actions; six days of intense work.

He says: “After the concentrated work of those six days, I looked at it and said its good, it’ll work. I sat down and admired what had been accomplished and rested enjoying the completion of those intense six days.”  He stops and peers into your eyes for clues as to your recognition and acknowledgment, whether you do get it, whether you really do understand the meanings of it all, or if he may have problems with you abusing a liberty as an opportunity to go another way, to do your own thing.

The owner creator starts up again.

“[insert your name here], from my observations you’ve had an excellent performance record throughout the previous days work. So, now I want to inform you of another rule of mine for all my partners in this venture of ours. You are my partner in this. The joy of your fellowship while we’re organized together in this venture pleases me. You know that I put this company together in six days and then I took a day off.  This is the beginning of your sixth day now, so you’ve got the rest of today to finish the week’s work, but then I want you to take the next day off and rest, just as I did. You deserve the rest. You need the rest. Your body needs it. Your soul and mind needs it. It’s a day I desire you and your family to plan to rest, giving yourselves time to recuperate and mend. Nothing but restful activities remembering how you came to be my partner. That includes all within your dwelling and any animals you may have too, as they too need a day to do as they would. We’ll call it our sabbath day of each week.”

“I desire for you join me on this seventh day each week for a time of restful relaxed fellowship together. Will you do that?”

“Yes, yes. Thank You.”

The Commandments. Part One.

Today, as a layman, I will take some liberties by paraphrasing, an analogy of the Ten Commandments as they are provided to us in the scriptures related to our perception, our commitment, our view, our ideas, our respect, our due honor to the Creator of this universe, its natural laws, the plants, animals and us humans.
To start this off let’s imagine that you’ve been hired by a certain company. You’ve been there a few days, seeing the operation first hand, walking the grounds, captivated by the garden and getting acquainted with the purpose of the company, its operation and how it all works together.
ten commandments 3
“Yes, I’m gonna like it here.”

The owner then calls you into his office. Comfortably seated facing each other, he starts telling you why he called you in. “I want you to know about this company and the rules I have for your safety and your benefit, and how it all came about.” He then proceeds in detail the intricate process he went through to make this business work: how it came to be, the first thoughts, the design, the first implementation of the vast structures, the outside facilities, the garden, the grounds, the gathering of the numerous parts holding it all together, the planning of how it would all work for the benefit of the working partners, the customers and himself. And how long it took.

“You’re an important part of this operation.” He informs you. “You have some freedoms within my basic rules to innovate new technologies and ideas too that will be of great use to our customers and your fellow workers, and I’ll guide you on the implementation of those.” He tells you that as a partner in this venture you would benefit greatly; your family and all your children and grandchildren will reap his rewards by your faithfulness as a partner. He proceeds to briefly tell you what expectations he has for your daily intermingling with your fellow workers and customers that benefits everyone; things like refraining from making images that could become idols. “Don’t do that”, he emphatically says.

“Oh, one other thing too that bothers me greatly. Don’t call me names. It’s disrespectful and you should not call your fellow workers names either. Got it? Cooperation by all benefits all.”

“Now, welcome to my world. I’m available for consultation anytime.”

You come away from the office impressed and honored that he chose you to be part of this company. Sounds wonderful, you’re excited and pledge to yourself that any other company coming down the line with an intriguing proposal shall be shunned.

“He created this, I work for him.”

Footnote: Could that phrase (you’re fired) have originated during biblical times as Jesus was instructing in parables Matt 13:41-42

“The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; and shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”

“If you want to change the world, pick up your pen and write.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

Gads, I’m just an old guy who likes to write, who has experienced the attempts to put thoughts into words and sentences when an idea, a thought that had never crossed my mind before solves a perplexity, somewhat like a math problem of A plus B equals C. I knew B and C, but could not figure out what A was. C was the change in culture. B was the complacency of the common citizen enjoying the benefits. But what was A?

So, what is happening in this upside-down world being created by, well, there’s a long list of the people who have made their mark as an agent of change. I’ll come back to the first in mind later.

There were the writings of Margaret Sanger. Alfred Kinsley. Rachel Carson. Sigmund Freud. Charles Darwin. Hugh Heffner published a magazine. Steve Jobs wrote with just 1 and 0’s. Then there was Martin Luther King, C.S. Lewis and Billy Graham. And the list goes on. No doubt you may have others in mind.
What effect did they have on the world? Sanger started the birth control revolution. Kinsey had a great effect on the sexual revolution. Carson initiated the environmental movement. Freud saw humans as deceivers to themselves. Darwin postulated that we evolved from lower animals. Hefner portrayed women as sex objects. Jobs pioneered the computer age. MLK stood for racial equality, Lewis explained mere Christianity, and Billy Graham preached repentance.

Go back in history way before these folks came along when another was born just like us, learned to walk and talk on this earth just like us, nourished his body just like us, never took a pen to papyrus, but the change he had on this world has lasted since then, having an eternal effect to every generation since. Whereas over time the above-mentioned names will be superseded by others.

His name was Jesus. And wow, what a mark that life made. He did not accumulate wealth. He did not gain political power. Never wrote a book. Was not an athlete nor an entertainer, a lawyer or media host. He was just a lone teacher gathering a following, providing bread to the masses, healing infirmities and exposing the errors of the power brokers, who couldn’t stand that hint of a revolution, had him arrested and hung like a criminal to be put away forever; so they thought.

He permanently changed the world.
A is to Acknowledge.
B is to Believe.
Equals: C: Communion of sins forgiven, a new joy with eternal sanctified life as a bonus.

Time tells all.

Over time sketches such as this has permeated our world; the story being that modern man (the last on the right) has had these stages of physical development in the evolutionary process through millions or billions of years from the sketch on the far left; the ape like monkey. Schools teach this. Scientists preach this. The media echos. So what’s up? Anything wrong with the theory? Oh, it is just a theory, a guess, a hypothesis.

evolution chart

Over time the humpback straightened, the legs got longer, the arms longer and the head changed. That means the insides of the body changed too, and the brain changed to a reasoning, imagining one. Hmm?

Any proof at all? Nope.  Since the ape or monkey is hallowed out as the practical starting point, why then are apes and monkeys still in the same shape and form as they were millions or billions of years ago when the evolutionary process evolved, when all other creatures changed in shape and form? None of the other figures in the sketch of our developing process are still among us.  Nope.  Not the second, the third, the fourth sketch, none of them. It’s just an artist’s rendition of what the scientists wanted him to draw. “Yeah, buddy, looks good, we believe it could’ve been like that, we’ll use it, here’s your check.”

No proof, none at all, no one was there to witness the transformations, no books were written, no writing on the walls, no pictures, no scientific evidence, no videos, so these inspired scientists and all want us to accept this because they say so. Now, isn’t that called a belief using faith.

Websters defines faith as: “firm belief in something for which there is no proof.” And “something that is believed especially with strong conviction.”

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1

The alternative. Read the book of Genesis. Ah, you don’t even have to read the whole book, just the first few chapters and accept it on faith, because Moses was inspired to write it.
